The film chronicles four siblings who are locked away in an attic
to hide their existence from the grandfather they have never met.
Heather Graham plays Corrine Dollanganger, the mother of the
children, who conspires with evil grandmother Olivia (Ellen Burstyn) to
keep them behind closed doors so that she can inherit her father's
fortune.
During their more than three years in the attic, Cathy and Chris
(Mason Dye) develop romantic feelings for each other before eventually
engaging in a sexual relationship.
